Last updated: 30 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LegalVectors website and services (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and LegalVectors (“LegalVectors”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Services you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. The Services — and important legal disclaimer

LegalVectors provides research, verification, drafting, and informational tools for advocates and law students. The Services may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to generate results.

LegalVectors is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on the platform constitutes legal advice, creates an advocate-client relationship, or is a substitute for the advice of a qualified legal professional. Case information, citations, judgments, AI-generated summaries, and drafts are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. They may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any output against authoritative, official court records before relying on or filing it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • upload content you do not have the right to submit, or that is confidential, privileged, or infringes the rights of others;
  • attempt to access, scrape, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Services or any underlying systems;
  • circumvent any security, authentication, rate-limiting, or access controls;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services or their output without our prior written consent;
  • misrepresent any AI-generated output as verified or as professional legal advice.

6. User content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Services. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and use that content solely to provide and improve the Services. You are responsible for ensuring that your submission of any content complies with applicable law and any duties of confidentiality you owe to clients or third parties.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including their design, software, text, and branding, are owned by LegalVectors or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. Source materials such as statutes and judgments remain the property of their respective rights holders and public authorities.

8. Subscriptions and fees

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Where fees apply, the applicable pricing, billing cycle, and payment terms will be presented to you before you purchase. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing on prospective notice.

9. Third-party services

The Services rely on and may link to third-party providers (for example, authentication, hosting, and AI providers) and external sources of legal data. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of third parties, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any result or output is accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalVectors and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services — including any reliance on case information, citations, judgments, or AI-generated output. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LegalVectors and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
